Our community involvement efforts center around the education of industry professionals through initiatives like hosted events, advisory boards, and the R365 Restaurant Academy. The Restaurant365 team uses these avenues to spread awareness about key industry solutions and strategies to equip hospitality workers at all levels with the tools they need to be successful.
We are excited to announce that we will be continuing to extend our ongoing community effort by kicking off a higher education initiative on March 29th. Morgan Harris, Restaurant365’s Co-founder and Chief Customer Advocate, will be speaking at the University of Las Vegas Hospitality College from 5:30 – 7:00 PM PST in Hospitality Hall (HOS) Room 136.
In this presentation about restaurant technology and analytics, Morgan will cover topics such as entrepreneurship, how Restaurant365 scaled to become the largest restaurant-specific accounting platform, and how to profitably scale a growing multi-unit restaurant business. Students will hear about the dynamics of a successful restaurant enterprise and have the opportunity to ask Morgan questions during a live Q&A session.
Through higher education speakerships, our hope is that the emerging generation of restaurant workers will enter the workforce with an increased understanding of what the recipe for success looks like in the industry. Armed with first-hand knowledge of Restaurant Enterprise Management (REM), budding professionals within our community will walk into interviews and future opportunities a step ahead of the competition.
