Software company Restaurant365 launched a new intelligence tool, R365 AI, its management platform.

Irvine-based Restaurant365 connects a restaurant’s accounting, inventory, labor, scheduling and POS data in one system. The new AI engine was built to deliver “more accurate” business insights and actions for restaurants based on existing financial and operational data from within the R365 platform.
Restaurants that have been testing the AI-driven labor management engine “saw a 15% reduction in average labor forecast error, delivering an estimated $100,000 in annual savings across 10 locations,” the company said.
“Because we connect the complete back-office with front of house data in one system, we can help restaurant operators understand what’s happening in their business sooner, make smarter decisions, and spend less time chasing information across disconnected tools,” Chief Executive Tony Smith said in a statement.
Restaurant365 has topped $100 million in annual revenue and is among Orange County’s most valuable privately held companies with a valuation of $1 billion.
